Sometimes “almost” feels safer than admitting we want something whole. We stay because there is chemistry, history, potential, or just enough affection to make leaving feel premature.
But a relationship should not require you to keep translating inconsistency into hope. There is a difference between giving something time and repeatedly negotiating against your own needs.
Choosing more does not make you demanding. Sometimes it simply means you are finally being honest about what “enough” actually looks like for you.
